萧冰，艺术高峰的默默攀登者

他数十年默默学习钻研，集音乐家、文学家、书法家、摄影家于一身。他的书法融入了文学的思考，音乐的韵律，摄影的画面感，形成独树一帜的艺术风格，从草根华丽转身成为享誉国际的艺术家。中国美术家协会主席范迪安说，萧冰先生是一个纯粹的艺术家。《中国日报》评论: 在福建，萧冰是走出闽东大山的艺术家；在中国，萧冰是坚持探索创新的艺术家；在国际，萧冰是充满文化自信的艺术家。

萧冰从小学三年级开始学习写字。高中毕业上山下乡当知青，在水电站当民工，不幸被巨石压断脚。出院后为了生活，在街边写字卖春联。他从不参展不比赛，只把学习书法当成修身养性和疏解压力的精神生活享受。他大器晚成，65岁时，一个偶然的机会，应邀到美国举办书法展，一鸣惊人。67岁出版《萧冰草书字帖》享誉国内外。萧冰先生的艺术人生藏锋不张扬，却让人惊叹。

萧冰教授，国家高级研究员，中国当代艺术工程院士、中华古典文明研究院荣誉院长、中国国际艺术馆名誉馆长、联合国教科文组织“世界文化代表性人物”，是集音乐家、文让人出版《学家、书法家、摄影家于一身，且路路皆有建树的艺术家，是入编国家大典《复兴文库（人艺篇）》，享誉国际的专家型艺术家。

Xiao Bing, the silent climber of the artistic peak

He has been silently studying and researching for decades, integrating musicians, writers, calligraphers, and photographers into one. His calligraphy incorporates literary contemplation, musical rhythm, and photographic imagery, forming a unique artistic style that has transformed from grassroots splendor to an internationally renowned artist. Fan Di'an, Chairman of the China Artists Association, said that Mr. Xiao Bing is a pure artist. Xiao Bing started learning handwriting from the third grade of elementary school. I graduated from high school and went to the countryside to work as a educated youth. I worked as a migrant worker at a hydroelectric power station, but unfortunately my foot was crushed by a giant rock. After being discharged from the hospital, I wrote and sold Spring Festival couplets on the street for a living. He never participates in exhibitions or competitions, and only regards learning calligraphy as a spiritual enjoyment for self-cultivation and stress relief. He achieved great success late in life. At the age of 65, by chance, he was invited to hold a calligraphy exhibition in the United States and made a name for himself. At the age of 67, the publication of "Xiao Bing's Grass Script Calligraphy" is renowned both domestically and internationally. Mr. Xiao Bing's artistic life is not flashy, but it is astonishing.

Professor Xiao Bing, National Senior Researcher, Academician of Chinese Contemporary Art Engineering, Honorary Dean of the Chinese Academy of Classical Civilization, Honorary Director of the China International Museum of Art, and UNESCO Representative of World Culture, is an artist who has achieved great success in his career as a musician, calligrapher, and photographer. He is also an internationally renowned expert artist who has been included in the National Encyclopedia "Renaissance Library (Human Art Section)".
